Bookcase-Cam - Day One
We spend the day figuring materials and renting a truck at Home Depot to bring them home. The truck was much better than I expected; cruised smoothly on the highway and had a nice big bed. It cost $19 (no mileage or gas charges) and we still had 30 minutes left when we brought it back.
Also bought a few tools, including an aluminum straightedge for $15 that has turned out to be really nice for drawing straight lines and checking level & alignment.
They didn't have the kind of shelf standards I wanted, so we took a chance and stopped by Harvey's Hardware in Needham on the way home. Of course they had them; Harvey's has everything.
